Sitcoms have always been the go-to genre for this.Story arcs of your favorite characters don't requiremuch of your attention, with each typically only spanning a self-contained half-hour episode. And the best part is we get to laugh relentlessly at the exaggeratedaspects of the human condition. And right now, Netflix is currently home to some of the best sitcoms available on streaming services.
Community

Set in fictional Greendale, CO, this series is a view into the world of community colleges, as folks of different ages and life circumstances attempt to forge a new future. Jeff Winger (Joel McHale) leads the show as a disgraced lawyer seeking to obtain the bachelor's degree he never had, yet lied about to his own law firm.
He forms a study group with other classmates that usually ends with less studying and more of the tangental comedy we're in it for. Much of the show makes significant use of pop culture references, irony, and self-deprecating humor. Don't miss out on this study group.
Schitt's Creek

Have you ever wanted to see a snooty family consumed in their own wealth and success go broke and be kicked out of their high maintenance lifestyle? If so, then Schitt's Creekthe show for you. In this adventure, the family seeks to sell a town that they purchased years ago in hopes of reclaiming some of their former glory -- and money. The problem is that this town, Schitt's Creek, isn't exactly the kind of town one can simply sell without many hurdles along the way.

Parks And Recreation

Parks and Recreation managed to follow the success ofThe Officewith a satirical look at the daily life of ordinary folks out in the workforce - only, this show looped in government and politics - in a fun way. Amy Poehler leads the show as Leslie Knope, who is the deputy director of the Parks and Recreation Department in Pawnee, Indiana. After a mishap involving Leslie's boyfriend falling into a pit next to her home, she sets off to turn the land previously vacated by an old condo unit into a park.
This task, however, would prove to be more difficult than she anticipated, as other forces, including low-level city governmentworkers, present various roadblocks regarding the project.

The Ranch

The fourth season finished the series and landed on the streaming service in January of this year.
